Mr. Nakamura's educational background began at Farrington High School, where he laid the foundation for his future academic pursuits. He went on to attend the University of Hawaii, further developing his knowledge and skills.
However, Mr. Nakamura's academic endeavors were put on hold as he served his country during the Korean War. He was part of a military intelligence unit, utilizing his skills and expertise to support the war efforts.
After his military service, Mr. Nakamura pursued a career in Hollywood, working in the film industry for nearly a decade. During this time, he appeared in a range of films, including "Go For Broke", "Westward, the Women", "Blood Alley", "Unchained Melody", "Athena", and "Lafayette Escadrille".
As the years passed, Mr. Nakamura decided to enter Federal Service in 1961. He was stationed in Okinawa, where he worked for over 32 years, before retiring in 1993.
Throughout his life, Mr. Nakamura was blessed with a loving family. He was married to his wife, Koto, and had a son, Derek, who was married to Joyce. He also had several brothers, including Wilfred and George, and sisters, Mary Murakami, who was married to Charles, and Mabel Nakamura. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Tragically, Mr. Nakamura passed away at the age of 87, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service. Private services were held in Okinawa, where he had spent a significant portion of his life.
