Helen, a 29-year-old native of Portsmouth, UK, has always been drawn to a life in the performing arts. As a six-year-old, she confidently declared to her parents that she would grow up to be just like Doris Day and Julie Andrews, and set her sights on a career in show business.
With a strong sense of determination, Helen began taking piano, flute, and guitar lessons, attending drama school, and dancing every night of the week. Her hard work and dedication paid off when, at the age of 14, she landed a role at the local radio station, Power FM, as a travel reporter.
At 16, Helen was cast in the world premiere stage production of "Quadrophenia" and went on to perform at Her Majesty's Theatre in London. This experience further solidified her passion for the performing arts, and she decided to move to Stoke-on-Trent at the age of 18 to take on a role as a singer/dancer at Alton Towers.
However, Helen soon found herself drawn to the world of film and television, and began to focus on her acting career. She landed roles in various television commercials and eventually secured a part in a local film, "Beast."
Despite her growing success, Helen has always had a soft spot for children in need and has used her talents to teach educational acting to young people. She has also written her own educational plays, which she has toured to schools in the Southern area of the UK.
Helen's next adventure took her to Cyprus, where she worked as a singer/dancer for TOTT Events and entertained tourists on coastal cruises. She eventually decided to audition for cruise ships and landed a job with Cruise and Maritime Voyages, embarking on a journey on the Marco Polo.
During her time on the Marco Polo, Helen traveled to Norway, Russia, Iceland, Spitzburgen, and the Baltics, performing nightly in production shows and spotlight cabarets. In 2013, she joined the sister ship Astor, which was based in Australia, and spent several months traveling the country and the Far East as the Cruise Director and Production Vocalist.
After returning to the UK in May 2014, Helen is set to embark on her next adventure with her fiancé, Glenn, in Majorca, where she will be working on a new performing project.
