Biography

Hayley was born and raised in the vibrant neighborhood of Southwark, a borough in Southeast London. Her upbringing was deeply influenced by her father, the renowned musician Jah Wobble, who collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including the iconic Brian Eno and the eclectic Björk. This exposure to a wide range of creative influences had a profound impact on Hayley's artistic development.

Hayley's educational background is equally impressive, with a strong foundation in drama at the innovative Anna Scher Theatre and classical ballet at the esteemed London Studio Centre. These formative years laid the groundwork for her future success in the performing arts.

Hayley's early career was marked by a series of critically acclaimed performances. In 2009, she played the role of Kitty Mason in the Sky One drama series The Take, opposite the talented Tom Hardy and Brian Cox. Her portrayal of the character earned her widespread recognition and acclaim.

In 2008, Hayley appeared in the cult rockabilly horror film Flick, released in North America in late 2010. The film, which starred Faye Dunaway, Hugh O'Connor, and Liz Smith, showcased Hayley's versatility as an actress.

Hayley's stage presence was also on full display at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008. She starred as the lead actress Sophie in the debut of the new musical Departure Lounge, which premiered at the George Square Theatre. Her performance earned her the Scotsman Edinburgh Fringe award for Best Music.

Before her breakthrough in television, Hayley appeared in the Channel 4 TV series Totally Frank, playing the role of drummer Neve. The show, which aired between 2005 and 2006, followed the journey of a fictional girl band and featured Hayley as a member of the group. Hayley's early start in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of 14, when she appeared in an episode of the British TV show Casualty. Her first major break came in 2000, when she played the daughter of Anita Dobson and Leslie Grantham in the two-part drama The Stretch, which aired on Sky1. She has also made guest appearances in several other TV shows, including The Robinsons, alongside Hugh Bonneville and Martin Freeman.
