Biography

Born in the City of Light, Paris, France, and subsequently raised in the vibrant metropolis of New York City, Harry's professional journey commenced at the tender age of twelve, when he was cast as one of Fagin's boys in the highly acclaimed Broadway production of Oliver. This marked the beginning of his illustrious career in the entertainment industry.

Throughout his teenage years, Harry appeared in numerous commercials and theatrical projects, while also nurturing his passion for singing and music. His dedication and perseverance paved the way for a prolific career, with a plethora of credits in television and film.

In 1975, Harry, his soon-to-be wife Bonnie, and their two daughters, Tracey and Missy, made the bold decision to relocate to California. The move proved to be a catalyst for his career, as he secured guest roles in popular television shows such as MASH, 8 is Enough, Maude, and many others. His film credits include The World's Greatest Lover, American Family, and his personal favorite, Carrie.

After much contemplation and introspection, Harry made the profound decision to pivot his career in 1981, applying for a position at a small talent agency. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life, as he embarked on a journey as a talent agent. Just one year later, in 1982, Harry opened the doors to Harry Gold & Associates, a boutique agency representing adult actors.

The agency's success was rapid and widespread, with the establishment of the legendary youth division soon following. HGA was the pioneering agency to represent both adult and young actors, setting a new standard in the industry.

"We take immense pride in stating that for many years, we have had the privilege of representing some of the most renowned actors in the business, both young and old," Harry proudly declares. "While we have had the honor of developing the careers of some of the biggest names in the industry, we also take pride in representing Oscar, Golden Globe, Emmy, and TONY award winners."

Over the years, the agency has undergone name changes, with the company permanently rebranding as TalentWorks in 2002. Today, TalentWorks remains a respected and esteemed presence in the entertainment industry.

Harry has been an elected board member of the Association of Talent Agents since 1992, a testament to his dedication and commitment to the industry.

In his personal life, Harry is blessed with a loving wife, five beautiful daughters, and seven grandchildren, with more on the way.
