Turkan Saylan first gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of beautiful and stunning blonde characters in various television series. In the early 2000s, she landed her first main roles in TV series such as Dolunay, Nefes Nefese, and Deli Dolu, showcasing her versatility as an actress. Her breakthrough role came in 2010 with the character Simge in the TV series Yahsi Cazibe, which ran from 2010 to 2012. During this period, she was honored as the icon character of the year and received the Best Supporting Actress trophy in 2011.
In 2012, she continued to impress audiences with her role as Nevriye Kacak in the TV series Pis Yedili, which also featured a screenplay by Gani Müjde. Although she left the project in Chapter 55, she went on to star in the TV series Harem in 2013, playing the role of Bihter. She also appeared in several films, including Sugarworkz-made movies such as Hayat Sana Guzel and My Friend Max.
After taking a brief hiatus from the film and television industry, Turkan Saylan returned to the spotlight in 2016 with a supporting role in the drama series Neriman. However, she soon stepped away from the screen and focused on other creative pursuits, including hosting the Anneler ve Kizlari and Elimin Lezzeti competitions. Although these endeavors did not yield the desired results, she bounced back with a bang in 2016, reprising her role as Tavsan Zeynep in the fourth installment of the Cakallarla Dans series.
Following this successful comeback, Turkan Saylan re-focused on her work in cinema, television, and theater, enjoying a successful stint on the stage with her play Her Ask Guzeldir, co-starring Irfan Kangi. Her outstanding performance earned her the title of Best Actress of the Year in the Comedy/Musical branch of the New Theater Magazine in 2017.
In 2018, she appeared in three films, including Benden bu kadar, a Fox TV film, and Cakallarla Dans, a Sugarworkz production. She also shot Aglak Arif, which is currently in post-production, and Hababam Sinifi Yeniden, which is scheduled to wrap up filming in the fourth quarter of 2018.
