Hakim Alston is a renowned kickboxing champion with an impressive martial arts background spanning over two decades. His extensive experience encompasses not only kickboxing but also Karate, having earned a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. This exceptional skillset earned him a coveted spot as a member of the USA Karate Team from 1984 to 1990. Moreover, his brother Shah Alston is also a formidable fighter.
Under the moniker Hakim "The Machine," Alston made a notable appearance on the syndicated television show WMAC Masters, alongside fellow Mortal Kombat alum Ho Sung Pak.
In addition to his television credits, Alston has portrayed notable characters in the Mortal Kombat franchise. He played the role of Fighting Monk in the series and Jax in Mortal Kombat: Live Tour.
