Biography

Gwyneth Paltrow's early life began in London, where she was born to parents of English and Welsh descent, both of whom were employed by the British Broadcasting Corporation. Her father, Colin, was a renowned television director, having worked on notable programs such as The Old Grey Whistle Test, which premiered in 1971, and Late Night Line-Up, which debuted in 1964. Despite her parents' initial reservations about her pursuing a career in acting, Gwyneth developed a passion for the craft, attending acting lessons at her school.
