Guy Nattiv is an American filmmaker who has made a significant impact in the industry. This film marks a significant milestone, as it is the first cinematic collaboration between an Israeli and Iranian filmmaker. Shot secretly in 2022 in Tbilisi, Georgia, "Tatami" was co-directed with Zar Amir Ibrahim, the winner of the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival.
