Changwei Gu

Noted film industry professional Changwei Gu, a master of the lens and a skilled storyteller, was brought into this world on the twelfth day of December in the year nineteen hundred and fifty-seven, in the historic city of Xi'an, situated in the province of Shaanxi, China. As a renowned cinematographer and director, Gu's impressive body of work includes the critically acclaimed films "Til Death Do Us Part" (2011),"The Hedgehog" (2024),and the award-winning "Farewell My Concubine" (1993). His personal life is marked by a long-standing union with the talented actress Wenli Jiang, whom he wed in 1993. Together, the couple has been blessed with one child, a testament to their enduring love and commitment to one another.
