Following his academic pursuits, Greg went on to receive his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of California, Los Angeles (U.C.L.A.) in 1985.

Berkeley) during the 1974 and 1975 seasons, as well as for the University of Hawaii during the 1977 and 1978 seasons, where he led the nation in multiple punting categories during his final two years.
Greg's football career took an unexpected turn when he was offered a contract by the National Football League's Green Bay Packers, which he declined. Instead, he signed with the San Diego Chargers the following year, but was eventually released due to injury. Despite this setback, Greg persevered and continued to pursue his passion for acting, now in his 38th year as a professional in the entertainment industry.
