Biography

Greg Pitts, a native of a small town on the Gulf Coast of Florida, graduated from the University of South Florida in 1992 with a degree in Theatre. He began his career touring state fairs and carnivals as the MC/Stuntman of a Wild West Stunt Show, performing in a tractor trailer.

Pitts' desire for a more prominent stage led him to move to Los Angeles in 1994, where he trained at the renowned sketch comedy/improv troupe, The Groundlings, for three years. During this time, he honed his skills as a performer and writer.

In 1997, Pitts co-created and co-wrote the critically acclaimed live sketch comedy show "Smooth Down There" in Los Angeles. His performances in this show caught the attention of agents and managers, leading to more substantial opportunities.

Pitts' success in TV led to starring roles in several shows, including "Damon" opposite Damon Wayans and "Normal, Ohio" opposite John Goodman. He also appeared in the cult film phenomenon "Office Space" as the smug talking character DREW, also known as "the oh face guy."

Over the next two decades, Pitts starred in multiple network pilots and a wide range of projects, including being a spokesperson for Washington Apples, a spoiled multi-millionaire in the Lifetime movie "Maneater," and a wise-cracking man-child in the reboot of the original "Bachelor Party" movie.

Prior to moving back to Florida, Pitts sold a pitch for a half-hour comedy vehicle that he would star in, but the script was not given a pilot order. Since then, he has focused on producing and writing, creating and producing two short-form projects, "The New 20's" and "Water Lords," and is now ready to work on more substantial producing projects.
