Person Biography:

Born with a passion for the arts, this individual graduated in Fine Arts in 1998, specializing in audiovisuals. During his university days, he created and showcased his first short films, which garnered recognition and screened on local television stations. Simultaneously, he worked on various audiovisual projects, including institutional videos for the Basque Government, and collaborated with renowned cartoon artist Rober Garay.

As a cartoonist and colorist, he contributed to local and national magazines and fanzines, while also teaching drawing comics at cultural centers. His freelance work as a poster and leaflet designer further showcased his versatility.

Upon completing his degree, he co-wrote and directed the short film "Amor de Madre" with Koldo Serra, which received widespread acclaim and won eight awards. This marked the beginning of his journey as a filmmaker.

In 1999, he transitioned into the world of multimedia and website design for Euskaltel, before switching to animation in 2001. He worked as a copywriter, scriptwriter, editor, artist, and animator for Tectoon, Bitart, and Imira Entertainment, contributing to several internationally acclaimed projects and television series.

As he continued to direct his own projects, he delved deeper into the world of music and videos. His first project for the band Fito & Fitipaldis, an animated video for their "Por la boca vive el pez" tour, premiered at the start of the 150-concert tour.

Since then, he has directed videos and animated films for various groups, including MClan, Melendi, Canteca de Macao, and Rise to Fall. His video "Antes de que cuente diez" for Fito & Fitipaldis earned a nomination for Best Video of the Year at the 40 Principales Music Awards and the Music Awards presented by the Spanish Academy of Arts and Sciences.

In 2010, he was approached by Baleuko, the producer of the first European animated movie "Megasonicos", to direct his first two feature films: "Olentzero eta Iratxoen Jauntxoa" (2011) and "The Wish Fish" (2012),the latter co-directed with Ivan Oneka.
