Gordon Williams

Gordon Williams, a renowned writer, took his first breath on June 20, 1934, in the charming town of Paisley, situated in the picturesque Renfrewshire region of Scotland, United Kingdom. As the years went by, Williams' creative endeavors would come to be recognized and celebrated through his notable works, including the thought-provoking films "Straw Dogs" (2011) and "Straw Dogs" (1971),as well as the popular television series "Hazell" (1978). Throughout his life, Williams was blessed with the love and companionship of his devoted wife, Claerwen Jones. Tragically, Gordon Williams' life came to a close on August 20, 2017, leaving behind a legacy of written works that will continue to captivate and inspire audiences for years to come.
