Born in Sydney, Glenn's early life was marked by frequent moves between the city suburbs and the Blue Mountains. His parents' separation when he was just 10 years old led to a series of relocations, with Glenn eventually settling back in the Blue Mountains to live with his father and aunt at the age of 12. It was during this period that Glenn's passion for the performing arts began to emerge, with regular appearances in school plays and occasional roles behind the scenes.
Growing up, Glenn was a free spirit, often getting into mischief and enjoying activities such as riding motorbikes and driving cars before he was legally old enough to obtain a driver's license. At the age of 19, Glenn made the bold decision to move to the Gold Coast, where he purchased a property and settled into a new life. He continued to pursue his acting ambitions, taking on various roles in TV commercials, working as a courier, bricklayer, security guard, and even male underwear model.
Glenn's personal life was marked by significant events, including the birth of his first child, Alaura, in 1994. He joined the army in 1995, but was discharged in 1998 after the birth of his second child, Lachlan. Tragedy struck in 1999 when Glenn's wife left the home, leaving him to care for their two young children, including infant Lachlan. Glenn has continued to care for his children to this day, balancing his responsibilities as a single father with his acting career.
In addition to his acting work, Glenn has also pursued a variety of sports, including boxing, kickboxing, Savate, Grecoroman wrestling, jetski racing, and Judo/Jujitsu. He has competed at a high level in several of these sports, and has even worked as a professional boxer.
