Glenda Hambly is a multi-talented individual, boasting a range of skills as a producer, writer, and director. Her impressive filmography includes two feature-length productions: "The Legend Maker", a drama, and "Homeland Story", a documentary, which she not only produced but also wrote and directed.
Glenda's debut feature, "Fran", garnered widespread recognition, taking home three prestigious Australian Film Awards, including the coveted Best Original Script award. Additionally, her script was honored with the Australian Writer's Guild award for Best Script of the Year. Her subsequent feature, "Waiting at the Royal", won the esteemed Banff TV Festival Best Movie for TV award.
Beyond her feature films, Glenda has demonstrated her versatility by developing, writing, and editing for an impressive fifteen television series and serials. She has also directed the popular children's series "Ship to Shore". Currently, Glenda is involved in a co-production with Israel and Germany, co-producing and co-writing a six-part mini-series.
