Gleb Osatinski, a multifaceted film director and producer, has accumulated an impressive array of accolades for his work. His seven short films have been showcased at over fifty film festivals worldwide, solidifying his reputation as a talented and innovative filmmaker.
One of his most notable works is the film "THE HOUSE AT THE EDGE OF THE GALAXY", which garnered significant attention and recognition. The film was nominated for the prestigious FutureCity Yokohama Award at the Short Shorts and Asia Film Festival, and it also opened the CRAFTED FOR LEXUS Screening Awards at the same festival. Furthermore, it won the Vortex Sci-Fi and Fantasy Award at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and the Best Sci-Fi Short Award at the Garden State Film Festival.
Another notable film by Gleb is "THE QUANTIFIED SELF", which was nominated for Best Narrative Short at the Woodstock Film Festival. Additionally, it received a Programmers Award at the Sidewalk Film Festival and a Runner-Up award at the Boston Underground Film Festival. The film also gained international recognition, being featured on ARTE TV in France and Germany.
Gleb's short film "CHECKMATE" won the REEL13 contest and was aired on PBS, while "FATHER" was nominated for the Golden Dragon Award at the Krakow Film Festival in 2020. His film "OUTSIDERS" won several awards, including Best Student Short at the Paris Film Festival and the Moscow Film Festival, as well as Best Drama at the Real Film Festival. It also received nominations for Best Dramatic Short from the Ashland Film Festival and the Maryland Film Festival.
Gleb is also a recipient of the 2020 Katherina Otto-Bernstein grant at Columbia University and a Fiscal Sponsorship at Gotham (IFP) in 2021 for his latest project, "OBRAZA (RESENTMENT)". He is a Lighthouse Selections Talent at T-Port Market in 2021, curated by Celine Roustan (Palm Springs International Film Festival and ShortFest, SXSW, TIFF).
Gleb's latest project, "OBRAZA (RESENTMENT)", premiered at the Berlinale (Generation) in 2024 and has since won several awards, including Best Short Film at the Vilnius International Film Festival, Best Jury Award at the Sarajevo Film Festival (TeenArena),Best Narrative Short Narrative Award at the Oscar-qualified Woodstock Film Festival, and a Jury Award at the Cinemagic Film Festival in Belfast, Ireland.
