Ginny McSwain is a multifaceted professional with a career spanning various aspects of the entertainment industry, specifically in the realm of voice acting, voice casting direction, and animation production, all based in Los Angeles, California.

Her academic background includes a degree from Stephens College, earned in 1974, which served as a precursor to her subsequent relocation to Los Angeles, where she would go on to make a name for herself in the industry.

Throughout her tenure at Hanna-Barbera, McSwain has been instrumental in the casting process for numerous projects, including The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show, which premiered in 1983, The Kwicky Koala Show, which debuted in 1981, and The Smurfs, another 1981 release.

As a voice director, McSwain's first prominent role was in the English-language version of Lucky Luke, which was released in 1983. Her impressive portfolio continued to grow, with notable achievements including a 2006 Daytime Emmy Award for The Batman, which initially aired in 2004, and subsequent Emmy wins in 2010 and 2011 for Fanboy & Chum Chum, which premiered in 2009.
