Biography

Gilbert Gottfried's life began with a passion for comedy, which led him to start performing stand-up at open mic nights in New York City at the tender age of 15. Over the years, he honed his craft, earning the reputation as "the comedian's comedian" and eventually becoming a cast member on Saturday Night Live in 1980.
