Jerry Ross, also known as Gerardo Rossi, is a renowned Italian actor who has made a lasting impact in the world of fotoromanzi and cinema. His career in the former medium has been particularly remarkable, spanning an impressive four decades from its inception in 1967 to the year 2000.
Ross's film debut came in 1967 with the western "Colt in the Hand of the Devil," directed by Sergio Bergonzelli. This early performance showcased his potential, as he played a significant role alongside prominent actors like Bob Henry and George Wang. However, instead of capitalizing on his initial success, Ross shifted his focus to the more lucrative fotoromanzi industry, appearing regularly in publications such as Lancio.
Four years later, Ross returned to the big screen with the 1971 film "Black Killer," directed by Carlo Croccolo, in which he co-starred with international actor Klaus Kinski. This marked a significant milestone in his career, as he continued to gain recognition and build his reputation as a talented actor.
In 1972, Ross took on the iconic role of Wild Bill Hickok in "Django Story," which undoubtedly propelled him to stardom. Later that year, he collaborated with Fidani on another film, "Jungle Master," which was part of the popular 'Jungle Girl' sequence.
