Geraldine Hakewill is a multifaceted Australian creative force, boasting a versatile range of talents that include acting, producing, singing, and songwriting. She is perhaps most notably recognized for her captivating performances as Chelsea Babbage in the popular Australian television series Wanted and Peregrine Fisher in the equally successful Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries.

Born in the City of Light, Paris, Hakewill's early life was marked by a sense of global exploration, as her family temporarily resided in the French capital while her father was engaged in the vital work of tropical disease management. As a young child, she called Geneva, Switzerland, and Chennai, South India, home, the latter of which was chosen by her parents to allow them to immerse themselves in the spiritual practices of an ashram.

Following her formative years, Hakewill went on to graduate from the esteemed Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, laying the groundwork for a successful career in the entertainment industry.
