Geraldine's early life was marked by a passion for the performing arts, and she attended the prestigious Royal Ballet Academy in London, where she honed her skills and cultivated her artistic talents. It was during her time in Paris that she was discovered by the renowned film director, David Lean, who was so impressed by her dancing abilities that he offered her a role in his epic film, Doctor Zhivago, which premiered in 1965.
