George Romero is a multifaceted creative force, exceling as a film and television producer, director, and best-selling comic book writer. He is also a co-founder of Romero Pictures, alongside Rebecca Romero. With an impressive portfolio boasting almost two dozen films and hundreds of commercial campaigns, George has demonstrated his versatility by writing, producing, and/or directing over 35 film, television, and streaming projects. Moreover, he serves as a business consultant and mentor to young and new filmmakers, content creators, and entrepreneurs, offering valuable guidance to help them navigate the ever-changing landscape of the entertainment industry.
George's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, which he pursued alongside a film production program at the Valencia school of film in Orlando, Florida. What sets him apart from other producer/directors is his unique life experience, having grown up working in almost every department on small and large film productions, including his father's "The Dark Half," "The Burbs," and "Roadhouse," among others.
