George "Buck" Flower, a talented and versatile actor, enjoyed a remarkable 35-year career spanning over 100 movies, showcasing his incredible range and adaptability. Born on October 28, 1937, in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon, Flower's early life took him to California, where he attended Pasadena City College and joined the repertory theater group The Inspiration Players, touring the continental United States and Alaska for 12 years.

Flower's film career began in the early 1970s, initially appearing in soft-core movies, such as Country Cuzzins, Below the Belt, and The Dirty Mind of Young Sally, for legendary director Harry H. Some of Flower's most notable roles include his appearances in John Carpenter's films, such as The Fog, Escape from New York, Starman, They Live, Body Bags, and Village of the Damned. He also had memorable roles in Wilderness Family, The Witch Who Came from the Sea, The Candy Tangerine Man, Drive in Massacre, Relentless, Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama, Pumpkinhead, Cheerleader Camp, The Alpha Incident, Back to the Future, A Small Town in Texas, Berserker, and Skeeter.

In addition to his acting credits, Flower worked behind the scenes, serving as casting director for The Witch Who Came from the Sea and Tiger Man, producer on Hell's Belles, Takin' It Off Out West, The Night Stalker, and Up Yours, second unit director on The Lonely Lady, Bare Knuckles, and Teenage Innocence, and co-writer on Wooly Boys, Party Plane, Death Falls, In Search of a Golden Sky, Joyride to Nowhere, Drive in Massacre, and Teenage Seductress.

Flower was the father of actress and costume designer Verkina Flower and passed away on June 18, 2004, at the age of 66, due to cancer. Despite his passing, George "Buck" Flower's remarkable cinematic legacy will continue to entertain film fans worldwide for generations to come.
