Gayatri Roshan began her illustrious career in London, where she spearheaded the production of over 50 television and radio commercial campaigns for prominent music labels such as Sony BMG, Universal Music, and Virgin Music, working with renowned bands like Outkast, Pink, Nelly Furtado, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In 2005, Gayatri co-founded the Species Alliance, a collaborative effort that resulted in the creation of a documentary titled Callof Life, which delves into the current mass extinction of species through the lens of human culture and psychology.
In the following years, Gayatri continued to excel in her craft, writing and producing notable documentaries such as One Thousand Suns (PBS) and PeaceWanted Alive (Link TV) in 2008/9. Her work as producer and executive producer on Harmony, a feature-length documentary inspired by and in collaboration with the Prince of Wales, aired on NBC's 2010 Green Week.
Currently, Gayatri is directing her first feature film, Elemental, which follows the journeys of three individuals on three continents as they strive to develop innovative and inspiring solutions to climate change. The film is expected to be completed in 2012.
