Gary Gerani is a multifaceted professional with a diverse range of expertise, encompassing screenwriting, non-fiction writing, and film history. He is perhaps most notable for his creative and co-authoring contributions to the screenplay of Pumpkinhead, a cult horror film that has garnered a devoted following and spawned multiple sequels, as well as a planned reboot.
In addition to his work in the horror genre, Gerani has also scripted the Showtime adaptation of the popular Vampirella comic book, which premiered in 1996. Furthermore, he created and produced a TV pilot in 2017 titled Convention, showcasing his versatility as a storyteller.
Beyond his work in film and television, Gerani has amassed an impressive 35 years of experience in creating and developing products for the youth market. He spent three decades working on staff at Topps, before providing similar services for Upper Deck, Rittenhouse Archives, and other related companies.
