Born in the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas, and later raised in the charming suburb of Mesquite, which is nestled just outside of Dallas. This laid-back Texan's educational journey began at North Mesquite High School, where he walked the same halls as the notable Jerri Hall three years prior. Following his high school graduation, Gary took a brief hiatus to serve his country as a Navy Diver. After his stint in the Navy, he dabbled in various 9-to-5 jobs, including a stint as a realtor, before discovering his true calling in the world of filmmaking. In pursuit of his newfound passion, Gary enrolled in film school at Southern Methodist University, where he found himself drawn to the world of acting and landed roles in numerous friends' projects. So enamored with the craft, he eventually transitioned his focus to acting full-time. Throughout the 1990s, Gary solidified his reputation as a talented actor, acting coach, and voice talent, paving the way for a successful career. As his star continued to rise, he made the bold decision to relocate to the City of Angels, marking a new chapter in his life with a starring role in the critically acclaimed film Late Bloomers, which premiered at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.
