Biography

Gary, a renowned thespian, boasts an impressive academic background, having graduated from The Neighborhood Playhouse Theater School in New York as a scholarship recipient. Over the course of his illustrious 25-year career, he has amassed an extensive repertoire of TV, film, and theatre credits.

Gary's selected TV and film credits include notable roles in Aaron Sorkin's Molly's Game, Bruce Beresford's Flint, and popular series such as The Expanse, Murdoch Mysteries, Beauty and the Beast, and The Strain. He has also made appearances in Hallmark productions like Christmas for the Books, The Judy Garland Story, and The Virgin Suicides.

Gary has had the privilege of performing on various stages throughout Ontario, including the esteemed Canadian Stage and The Stratford Festival, where he received a Guthrie Award for his exceptional work.

In addition to his theatrical pursuits, Gary holds two bachelor's degrees: a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Radio/TV Arts from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dalhousie University.

Born and raised on the east coast of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Gary currently resides in Toronto with his wife, Sharon McFarlane, a talented actress, and their two children, Jamie and Bethany.
