Garrison Koch was born in Burbank, California, to Jack and Christine Koch. His fascination with movies began at a young age, but he didn't initially consider acting as a career path until he attended his first acting class in San Francisco, which was organized by a friend.
This life-changing experience not only sparked his interest in acting but also led to his first acting gig, a role in the popular TV series "Nash Bridges" starring Don Johnson, which was filmed in San Francisco. Recognizing that pursuing a career in acting required relocating to Los Angeles, Garrison made the bold decision to take the leap.
He landed a significant role in the film "Pins and Needles" following an audition with writer/director Mark Schwab. The film's success at the NY International Independent Film Festival earned Garrison the prestigious award for Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film.
Garrison's impressive resume includes notable roles in popular TV shows such as "The O.C." and "Girlfriends," as well as critically acclaimed films like "Cutting Room," which won multiple awards at the Milan Film Festival in 2006. He also co-starred with Omarion and Marques Houston in the film "Somebody Help Me," which premiered at the historic Grauman's Chinese Theatre in October.
