Biography

Gadalla Gubara, a luminary of the film industry, entered this world in the year 1920, in the vibrant city of Khartoum, Sudan, a place that would later serve as the backdrop for his illustrious career.

As a multifaceted individual, Gubara wore many hats - that of a director and writer - and his creative endeavors would go on to leave a lasting impact on the world of cinema.

Some of his most notable works include "The Sheikh's Blessing", a masterpiece released in 1998, "Tajouj", a 1977 production that showcased his versatility as a filmmaker, and "Les misérables", a 2007 adaptation that further cemented his reputation as a master storyteller.

Despite his immense contributions to the world of cinema, Gubara's life was not without its challenges, and he ultimately passed away in August 2008, back in the city of his birth, Khartoum, Sudan.
