Biography

Gad, a Moroccan-born individual, entered the world in April 1971, with his father being a skilled mime. Gad's early life was marked by his attendance at Georges Bizet school and Lycée Lyautey in Casablanca, although he didn't particularly enjoy his educational experience.

In 1988, Gad decided to leave his native Casablanca behind and relocate to Montreal, a city he would call home for the next four years. During his time in Montreal, he pursued a degree in political science for a brief period, honed his skills in radio broadcasting, and even wrote humorous stories and performed them in nightclubs.

Fast-forward to 1992, Gad made the move to Paris, where he enrolled in the prestigious Le Cours Florent course, rubbing shoulders with esteemed instructors such as Isabelle Nanty. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in Gad's life, as he went on to craft a one-man show titled 'Décalages', which delved into his experiences in both Montreal and Paris, and premiered in 1996.

Three years later, Gad presented his second one-man show, 'La Vie Normale', which was skillfully directed by Isabelle Nanty. This project cemented Gad's reputation as a talented humorist, while also showcasing his impressive acting abilities in various French films.

Gad's personal life is also worth noting, as he has been in a relationship with French actress Anne Brochet and is a proud father to their son, Noé. Moreover, he has maintained a strong bond with fellow comedian and business partner Jamel Debbouze.
