In 2023, Gabriel co-directed the grand winner of the 56th Brasília Film Festival and the 52nd Gramado Film Festival, a short film titled "Pastrana", alongside Melissa Brogni. This outstanding achievement was further solidified by the film's receipt of the Best Latin short film award at the BAFICI – Buenos Aires Independent Film Festival.
