Biography

Gabriel William Hogan is a renowned classically trained actor and improv comedian, whose face has become a familiar sight to audiences worldwide, thanks to his critically acclaimed performances on both the big and small screens. He currently resides in Southern California, where he continues to thrive in the entertainment industry.

As a gifted and charismatic screen actor, Gabriel has appeared in over 300 episodes of television and more than 45 films, showcasing his impressive range and versatility. Interestingly, his career began in the theatre, where he honed his craft under the guidance of his parents, actors Michael Hogan and Susan Hogan, who instilled in him a deep appreciation for the arts.

Growing up in a diverse community surrounded by artists of all kinds, Gabriel was exposed to a wide range of creative pursuits from a young age. He eventually decided to pursue his passion for acting, studying the craft in school and quickly becoming a sought-after stage actor.

Gabriel's breakthrough role came in 1997, when he was cast as Lt. Bobby Danko in the dramatic film Peacekeepers, for which he received a nomination for Best Lead Actor at the Canadian Screen Awards. His big break in American film arrived in 2004, when he was cast opposite Charlize Theron as British officer "Julian Ellsworth" in the wartime drama Head in the Clouds.

Since then, Gabriel has been working steadily on both sides of the border and around the world, consistently delivering impressive performances in a wide range of film and television projects. He is also a devoted family man, with two siblings, younger brother Charlie Hogan and older sister Jennie Rebecca Hogan, an actress in her own right.

In addition to his acting career, Gabriel is an accomplished athlete, having played sports throughout his life, including hockey, in which he is a skilled player. He is also a talented musician, having toured and performed with multiple bands, including the punk rock outfit "Battlescar".
