Gabriel Grieco, a talented filmmaker, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His journey in the film industry began with his debut feature film, "Still Life", which premiered at the 67th Festival de Cannes in 2014 and later at various international film festivals, including Fantastic Fest in Austin, U.S.A, Sitges, Morbido, and 12 more. The film was released in Argentine theaters on March 5th, 2015, and received positive reviews from the press, also winning three awards at Ventana Sur Blood Window.
In 2015, Grieco won the best director award in the "Revista Cine Fantastico Argentina 2015" contest. His second feature film, "Hipersomnia", was released in Argentine theaters on March 30th, 2017, and peaked at number three in the ranking of the most seen horror films in Argentina, surpassing over 160 titles. The film won the best Latin-American Picture award at the Mar del Plata film festival in 2016 and was released on Netflix worldwide in July 2017.
Grieco's third feature film is "Respira", released in 2019. Prior to his feature films, he directed and produced music videos for renowned Spanish and Latin-American artists, including Leslie Grace, Yandel, CNCO, Attaque 77, Airbag, Fabiana Cantilo, Disney Channel's Talents, and many others.
