Gabbi Tuft is a renowned public figure, content creator, and transgender actress known globally for her exceptional career as WWE Superstar "Tyler Reks" and the founder of the internationally acclaimed fitness company, Body Spartan. Her captivating social media videos have garnered an impressive 82 million views on TikTok and Instagram alone.
In February 2021, Gabbi publicly announced her transition, making her the first WWE Superstar to do so. This remarkable revelation was particularly astonishing given her previous persona as an alpha male, characterized by her imposing physique, massive beard, and dreadlocks. Her transformation from a 280-pound, 8% body fat, rough, and masculine figure to a soft, smaller female is nothing short of astonishing.
Born in San Francisco and raised in the Sonoma/Napa area, Gabbi was initially considered a "nerd" in high school. Despite being a straight-A student with a 4.0 GPA, she faced ridicule and bullying throughout her freshmen and sophomore year. This constant harassment led Gabbi to turn to her father's weight set in the garage, where she began building her body at the age of 14.
Over the next 26 years, Gabbi developed a physique that many consider equivalent to a Viking warrior. In 2002, she married the love of her life, Priscilla Tuft, and the couple relocated to Southern California, where Gabbi pursued her passion for the gym and took up surfing.
In 2008, Gabbi was offered a contract by WWE, and she and Priscilla moved to Tampa, Florida, to begin her wrestling training. Gabbi made her television debut in July 2009 as part of WWE's ECW roster, gradually rising through the ranks to appear on RAW, Smackdown, Superstars, NXT, multiple pay-per-view events, and several Wrestlemania's. Gabbi retired from WWE in 2012 to become a stay-at-home father to her daughter, Mia, who was just eight months old at the time.
Following the death of her brother in 2012, Gabbi founded Body Spartan, an online fitness company, with the goal of helping others in need. Body Spartan was the first to bring the ketogenic diet to the internet, and the company flourished under Gabbi's leadership. She continued to motivate the masses through her motivational videos, tours, and public speaking.
In the summer of 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Gabbi began experimenting with presenting herself as a female in the privacy of her own home, with her wife, Priscilla, providing guidance and support every step of the way.
After announcing her transition, Gabbi has achieved several notable milestones, including obtaining her real estate license, becoming a licensed Realtor, and launching a new online personal fitness coaching endeavor. Her current goal is to share her story, ensuring it remains raw, real, and 100% transparent, in the hope of creating a paradigm shift and inspiring hope and courage in others.
