G. M. Sundar, a multifaceted Indian talent, has made a significant mark in the Tamil film industry as an actor and producer. His journey in the world of cinema began with his training in acting at the prestigious Film and Television institute, Adyar.
It was renowned director K. Balachander who gave Sundar his first role in the film Punnagai Mannan, paving the way for his future endeavors. Subsequently, Sundar was handpicked by the legendary Kamal Haasan to feature in the films Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupaadu and Sathyaa, produced by Raaj Kamal Films.
Beyond mainstream films, Sundar has showcased his versatility by taking on the lead role in the national award-winning film Ooruku Nooruper, directed by B. Lenin. Furthermore, he not only acted in but also produced the critically acclaimed short film Urumattram, which received the national award for the Best Environmental Film.
