Fumitoshi Oizaki, a multifaceted creative force in the world of animation, was born on October 15, 1975, in Oita Prefecture, Japan. With a career spanning multiple decades, he has made a significant impact in the industry, excelling as an animator, animation director, character designer, and anime director.
Prior to establishing his own studio, Oizaki worked as a freelancer for prominent animation companies, including Sunrise and Gonzo. His impressive portfolio and skillset eventually led him to co-found Encourage Films in 2008, alongside Gonzo producer Tōyō Ikeda.
Tragedy struck in 2013 when Tōyō Ikeda passed away, leaving Oizaki to take the reins as CEO of Encourage Films. Despite this setback, Oizaki persevered, using his leadership skills to guide the studio forward and continue producing high-quality animated content.
As a testament to his dedication and expertise, Oizaki has played a pivotal role in shaping the animation industry, leaving an indelible mark on the world of anime and beyond.
