Fronza Woods, a multifaceted individual, hails from the vibrant city of Detroit, where she was born, raised, and educated.
She spent the majority of her professional years in the bustling metropolis of Manhattan, where she continued to grow and flourish as a writer-filmmaker.
Currently, Fronza is maturing, creatively speaking, in the picturesque southwest of France, where she is surrounded by the beauty and inspiration of her new surroundings.
Throughout her career, Fronza has worked extensively in the film industry, serving as a camerawoman on numerous independent films, and even lending her skills as an assistant sound engineer on John Sayles' critically acclaimed feature, "The Brother from Another Planet".
In addition to her hands-on experience in filmmaking, Fronza has also honed her skills as a script reader for the esteemed HBO network.
As a dedicated educator, Fronza has taught basic filmmaking techniques at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where she has also developed and curated an outreach film program specifically designed for the city's Black community.
This program aimed to promote greater accessibility and diversity in the world of filmmaking, and to provide opportunities for underrepresented voices to be heard.
