Biography

Freya, a talented individual, was born in the picturesque city of Hobart, Tasmania. From a very young age, she harbored a deep desire to become an actress, inspired by her big sister, whom she admired greatly. Her passion for the performing arts was evident, as she secured her first acting gig at the tender age of 8 in a local production of the beloved musical, "Annie".

As she grew older, Freya's dedication to her craft only intensified. She graduated from the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) in 2000, at the age of 23. During her time at NIDA, she had the opportunity to participate in numerous theatre productions, including the Shakespearean classic, "Twelfth Night", the poignant drama, "There's no need to wake up", and the Chekhovian masterpiece, "Three Sisters".

Following her graduation, Freya made her television debut in 2001, playing the role of Basia Lem, a bisexual filmmaker, in the ABC series "Head Start". Although the series unfortunately did not survive beyond a year, Freya's talent and versatility were already evident. She then went on to secure the part of detective Harriett Walker in the Channel Ten series "White Collar Blue" in 2002.
