Fred Keating has had a diverse and extensive career in theatre, radio, TV, and film. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Fred began his career in broadcasting at a young age, hosting holiday specials and doing commercial work for WTOL, the CBS affiliate in Toledo.

He went on to study drama and acting, earning a full scholarship to attend Eastern Michigan University, where he directed the school-touring Caravan Players. After completing his studies, Fred honed his skills in summer stock theatre in Detroit, Boston, and New York City.

In the 1970s, Fred became a founding member of the Catalyst Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta, where he performed in several CBC Television Specials. He also worked as a writer and principal performer in the improvisational troupe, The Goose Company, which toured and had a regular Saturday morning TV children's show commitment.

Throughout his career, Fred has worked as a host, writer, and producer for various projects, including a weekly province-wide radio show on CKUA called Centre Stage, and a corporate production company. He has also produced and hosted several podcasts, including "Monetizing Your Creativity" and "Fred Keating & Friends".

As a corporate educator, Fred has worked with many major companies, creating internal and external A/V productions for government departments and non-profit organizations. He has also become a familiar face onscreen, hosting corporate affairs, award shows, and special charity events.

In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Fred has been involved in various charitable efforts, including hosting several live presentations of Dr. Jane Goodall's work. He has also appeared as a special guest and sponsor at various comic cons and festivals.

Throughout his career, Fred has received numerous awards and accolades for his work, and has been recognized for his contributions to the arts and entertainment industry.
