Frank W Chen, born Weiyang Chen on May 6, 1981, in the city of Taichung, Taiwan, began his life journey in a culturally rich and vibrant environment. As he grew up, he made the decision to relocate to Taipei, Taiwan's capital city, where he spent his formative years. Later in life, Chen made the bold move to Vancouver, Canada, seeking new experiences and opportunities.
Chen's academic pursuits took him to the University of Toronto, where he earned a degree in Architecture. His passion for design and construction led him to further his education at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the field.
After dedicating himself to his craft, Chen made his feature film debut with the documentary "Late Life: The Chien-Ming Wang Story" in 2018. This milestone marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career, as he continued to explore the world of filmmaking and share his unique perspective with audiences worldwide.
