Biography

Frank Mouris, a distinguished alumnus of both Harvard and Yale Universities, has made a lasting impact in the world of filmmaking with his diverse and innovative body of work. His filmography boasts a range of titles, including the 1967 releases "Quick Dream" and "Coney Island Eats", as well as "You're Not Real Pretty but You're Mine..." and "Chemical Architecture" in 1968. The following year, Mouris released "Frank Film", which would go on to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Short in 1973.

In addition to his individual projects, Mouris has also collaborated with other talented filmmakers, including Peter Schlaifer with whom he co-directed two films, and his wife Caroline Mouris, with whom he co-directed three films. Caroline Mouris, a skilled co-director in her own right, was also the co-recipient of the Academy Award for her work on "Frank Film".
