Francis James "Frank" Maher, a British stuntman of note, was born on 18th June 1929, and would go on to leave an indelible mark on the world of British television, earning a reputation as a master of the art of stuntwork, with a plethora of credits to his name, including stints as a stuntman and stunt coordinator on numerous popular television shows, such as Danger Man, also known as Secret Agent, and The Prisoner, where he often took on the challenging role of stunt double for the show's charismatic star, the inimitable Patrick McGoohan.
