Frank Ieraci was born on August 22, 1972, in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, and grew up in the nearby town of Bradford. At the age of 16, he began his journey in the film industry by signing up with a local casting agent, eager to gain experience and willing to take on various uncredited roles.
Frank's first notable audition was for Back to the Future 2, where he was cast as one of Biff's right-hand men. Although he didn't make the final cut, this experience only fueled his passion for the craft.
However, after failing to land the role, Frank stepped away from the camera at the age of 17. He went on to open his first successful business and completed his graduate degree in Hotel and Restaurant management.
Years later, Frank reconnected with an old friend, Robert Cymbalski, who had continued pursuing his passion for acting. Robert introduced Frank to Director Neil MacKay, who offered him a role in his current production, Battleground.
Frank's breakthrough performance was as Domenic, a ruthless bank robber, in Battleground. Despite facing numerous obstacles during production, Frank's quick thinking and innovative solutions earned him an associate producer's credit.
Tragedy struck when Frank was involved in a near-fatal car accident, leaving him with a 13cm steel rod implanted through his shattered femur. Miraculously, he recovered in time to complete his role, and the producers even used his injuries to push the story forward.
This determination was showcased in the documentary short Skeleton crew: Behind the Scenes of Battleground, highlighting Frank's perseverance and dedication to his craft.
Battleground successfully distributed worldwide and aired on Netflix U.S.A. in 2012, and Frank's love for film was reignited. He went on to work on the production Mobile Homes, where he reunited with Neil MacKay, the director of Battleground.
During the production of Mobile Homes, Frank mentioned to Neil that he missed being on set, and Neil suggested he produce a movie. Frank was inspired by Neil's words and went on to become an Executive Producer, working alongside fellow Executive Producer Tomislav Stefanac on the project Sixty Minutes to Midnight.
Frank believes that Terry MacDonald's original screenplay for the short "Greed Inc" directed by Neil MacKay provides the basis for an unstoppable and thrilling journey that any viewer would fully enjoy.
