Frank Hall Green is a multifaceted creative force, serving as a writer, director, and producer, as well as a partner at Catch & Release Films. Alongside his partner and producer Tom Heller, who has collaborated on acclaimed films such as Foxcatcher, Precious, 127 Hours, and Mud, Catch & Release is currently producing the adaptation of Boy21 by Matthew Quick, with Lasse Hallstrom set to direct.
Green's directorial debut feature, Wildlike, has garnered widespread recognition, being invited to over 75 film festivals and winning 16 Best Film awards. The film, which premiered in 2015, was produced by Christine Vachon/Killer Films, Tandem Pictures, and Joseph Stephans, and features a talented cast, including Ella Purnell, Bruce Greenwood, Brian Geraghty, Nolan Gerard Funk, and Ann Dowd. Notably, Wildlike was shot on 35mm in Alaska.
In addition to his work on Wildlike, Green is also a producer on Remittance, the sophomore feature from writing/directing duo Joel Fendelman and Patrick Daly. He has recently produced the award-winning one-man show Ghetto Klown for HBO, featuring John Leguizamo. Green's extensive production credits also include Allegiance and 1-900-Tonight, starring John Turturro, based on the film by Theo Van Gogh.
Prior to his career in film, Green honed his skills producing and directing numerous short films. He holds an MBA from NYU's Tisch School of Film & Television and has a strong academic background, having studied at NYU's Gallatin School. Green's professional experience extends beyond the film industry, as he previously worked in venture capital and emerging technology. He is an alumnus of NYU's Graduate Film Program and has been an avid backpacker and member of MENSA since his early years in Atlanta.
