Biography

Paris-born Franca Mai, a woman of mysterious, elegant, and slightly enigmatic beauty, possesses a unique heritage, with a quarter of Vietnamese blood flowing through her veins. This remarkable combination of attributes could have easily catapulted her to stardom in the French and international film industries. However, her acting career has been limited to only a few roles, with her most notable appearance being one of the two lesbian vampire women in Jean Rollin's critically acclaimed film "Fascination" (1979). She has since made sporadic appearances in various films and television shows, including "Zig Zag Story" (1983),"Le moustachu" (1987),and "Les idiots" (1987),playing characters such as a reporter, a terrorist, and a poetic prostitute.
