Fikile Mthwalo is a talented actress hailing from the beautiful country of Lesotho, and she has made a name for herself in the South African entertainment industry. Her most notable role to date is that of "Zak" on the long-running television show, Isidingo, which premiered in 1998. This stint on the show not only showcased her acting prowess but also led to her becoming a series regular on E-TV's popular series, Gold Diggers.
Fikile's acting career has been marked by numerous appearances on various television shows and series. She played a significant role in Mzansi Magic's series It's Complicated, starring in two seasons of the show. Furthermore, she has also ventured into the world of digital content, creating and starring in her own digital series, Tech Bae, which focuses on the lives and experiences of women of color in the tech industry.
However, Fikile's creative endeavors do not stop at acting. She is also the founder of Glubbs, a company that specializes in eco-friendly disposable gloves. Glubbs has received recognition and support from American Express, which awarded them a grant and mentorship prize as part of their Founders of Change initiative. This initiative aims to provide financial and educational backing to 100 black female business owners, and Fikile is proud to be a part of this prestigious program.
Fikile's educational background is equally impressive. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Video Production from the University of Cape Town. She then furthered her studies by earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting from the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
