Felix Locher

Felix Locher, a character actor of considerable renown, embarked upon his acting career at the ripe age of 73, a decision that would ultimately prove to be a pivotal moment in his life. As the father of actor Jon Hall, born Charles Felix Locher, Locher's journey into the world of acting was sparked by a chance encounter with his son, who was at the time preparing for his role in the 1957 film Hell Ship Mutiny. It was during this visit that Locher caught the eye of the film's director, who was so impressed by his presence that he convinced him to take on the role of an elderly Tahitian chief. This marked the beginning of a prolific acting career, during which Locher appeared in numerous television productions throughout the 1950s and 1960s.
