Frederico Boido, a blonde actor with a sullen face, was born in 1938 in Novi Ligure, Alessandria, Piemonte, Italy.
He became a well-known figure in European films, appearing in a variety of genres including science fiction, westerns, and dark photo novels.
Boido's first film was a peplum epic, Sansone e il tesoro degli Incas, which was released in the US as Hercules and the Treasure of the Incas. The film co-starred future Sadistik actor Franco Jamonte.
In the early 1960s, Boido appeared in several films, including the three-segment film Thrilling, which featured an episode based on the character Sadik.
After some uncredited appearances in spy films, Boido made a splash in the Mario Bava film Terrore nello spazio, playing a zombie astronaut.
From 1966, Boido appeared in the Sadistik photo novels and continued to menace the film screen with his villainous roles.
He became a staple in spaghetti westerns, appearing in films such as Trinity, Sartana, Django, and Sabata. He also made a cameo in Frederico Fellini's Histoiresextraordinaires, playing a henchman who plugs a bullet hole in a jet cabin with chewing gum.
For the next ten years, Boido continued to appear in westerns and other films, including the 1973 film Superfly T.N.T., in which he played a hitman.
Recently, Boido has been involved in a documentary called The Diabolikal Super Kriminal, in which he shared his experiences in the photo novel industry.
As a charter cast member of the dark photo novels known as Killing in Italy, Satanik in France and Sadistik in America, Boido has the honor of having been killed by space vampires and cowboys as well as dark comics icons Diabolik and Sadistik (many times).
Boido's most notable roles include his appearances in the Mario Bava film Terrore nello spazio, the spaghetti westerns Trinity, Sartana, Django, and Sabata, and the Frederico Fellini film Histoiresextraordinaires.
