Notorious Catholic priest, Father Vincent Gerard Ryan, has been imprisoned for a staggering 17 years or more, following his conviction for the sexual abuse of at least 37 young boys within the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle in Australia.
Despite the fact that his superiors were aware of his egregious offending for numerous decades, Ryan has not been laicised by successive Popes, and therefore, he remains a priest of the Catholic Church.
Ryan's criminal trial, which took place in 2019, was prominently featured in Revelation, and his interview with Sarah Ferguson marks a groundbreaking moment, as it is the first time a serving Catholic priest has publicly spoken about his sexual abuse of children on camera.
