Faezeh Alavi is a multifaceted Iranian artist, exceling as both a filmmaker and actress. Her educational background is marked by a bachelor's degree in Theatre Directing from Sooreh Art University, as well as an interdisciplinary Master of Arts in puppet theatre and surreal drama in cinema from the Art University of Tehran.
In 2016, Faezeh embarked on a new chapter in her career, relocating to Melbourne, Australia to pursue her passion for filmmaking. Throughout her illustrious career, she has had the opportunity to perform in over 20 theatre productions, 3 television series, 8 short films, and 4 feature films.
In addition to her acting credits, Faezeh has also demonstrated her expertise behind the camera, directing 7 short films, two of which have garnered awards from esteemed film festivals such as Greenmefilmfestival, Greenfestival, Veterans film festival, and the Aswara film festival in 2016.
Faezeh's storytelling often delves into the realms of surreal drama, frequently exploring themes of women's rights and human rights, as well as the darker aspects of the human character. Her creative pursuits extend beyond filmmaking, as she is also a skilled painter and passionate advocate for human and animal rights.
